スネイル教授は、ジンジャーアイランドで島のフィールドオフィスを構えている男性です。最初に彼は大きな岩によって、キノコの洞窟の中に閉じ込められています。洞窟はオウムにdata-sort-value="10"> 10の金のクルミを渡して修復する橋の先にある、化石採掘場の上側にあります。プレイヤーは爆弾で石を爆破して彼を解放しなければなりません（炸裂弾は機能しますが、2つ必要です）。

解放後、彼は島の動植物の調査を1年前から行っていることを説明し、化石の寄付をすることで金のクルミを受け取れる、ジンジャーアイランドの彼のテントに戻ります。

彼が閉じ込められていた洞窟はキノコの洞窟となり、プレイヤーがキノコを採集できるようになります。

So if you ever encounter any bones, fossils, or mummified specimens on this island, bring them to my desk, okay?
