これらの動物は牧場に[[家畜小屋]]を建てるまで購入できず、また家畜小屋に居住させる必要があります。畜産物は道具を使って採取するか、ブタの場合は放牧中に地面に落ちています。
家畜小屋の動物は、ステータスメニューで妊娠オプションが有効になっている場合ランダムに妊娠します。このメニューは撫でた後に動物を右クリックすることで開けます。メニューの右側のアイコンでその動物の妊娠を有効にするかどうかを切り替えることができます。妊娠すると、夜間に動物が出産したというメッセージボックスが表示され、その後新しい動物の名前を決めます。妊娠するためには、大型の家畜小屋にアップグレードし、かつ新しい動物が住めるよう建物に空きがある必要があります。
