闇ニワトリの入手について；あなたが眠った後に発生するランダムイベントで、魔女が[[小屋|トリ小屋]]の上空を飛び、翌朝そこにヴォイドエッグが置かれています。他には[[シンダーサップの森]]の[[行商人のカート]]、もしくは[[下水道]]の[[クロバス]]から{{Price|5000}}でヴォイドエッグを購入できます。ヴォイドエッグを入手したら、[[ふ卵器]]（[[小屋|大型の小屋]]が必要）の中に入れると闇ニワトリが孵化します。
[[マーニー]]からニワトリを購入した際、白いニワトリになるか茶色いニワトリになるかはランダムです。
[[シェーン]]のハート8でのイベントを見た後は、[[マーニー]]から購入するニワトリが1/4の確率で青色になります。青いニワトリと白いニワトリは、見た目は違いますが、他はすべて同じです。
いずれの種類のタマゴを孵化させても、白・茶・青（青がアンロックされている場合のみ）のニワトリが生まれる可能性があります。
