マーメイドボートは午後5時から午前12時30分までの間開いています。入室すると、マーメイドが現れ、様々な演出と共に歌い始めます。このパフォーマンスはゲーム内時間で1時間40分続きますが、プレイヤーはいつでも退室することが可能です。また、インベントリを開くことも出来ます。シングルプレイであれば、そうしておくことで時間の経過が停止します。
ショーの後、ボート内の貝殻をクリックすると音符を演奏することが出来ます。正しい順番で演奏出来たプレイヤーには、特別なアイテムがプレゼントされます。
正しい順番は[[ひみつのメモ#ひみつのメモ #15|ひみつのメモ #15]]を見ることで解りますが、このメモを入手している必要はありません。以下に正しい順番とそのアイテムについて記載します。

|When played in the order 1-5-4-2-3 (left to right), the player will be awarded with a [[Pearl]]. Returning to the Mermaid Boat on a different night after previously obtaining a Pearl will still trigger the cutscene and musical clam shells, but the player will not receive an additional Pearl for entering the correct sequence.
